A palliative-care environment organised around gardens, courtyards and a low, curving architectural form. Clinical spaces and places for everyday life share a close connection with the landscape. Staff accommodation forms a related part of the campus studies.

Building around the trees
The concept develops a curving footprint within the planted site, with gardens between the building wings.
Care at ground level
The plan brings rooms, shared spaces and sheltered circulation around a series of open courts.
The section through care
Low profiles and shaded circulation maintain a close relationship between interiors and outdoor space.
The everyday experience
Daylight, views and accessible garden edges give the shared spaces a domestic scale.
Support buildings
Nurses’ accommodation and administration extend the campus programme beyond the care building.
Campus housing
The housing proposal groups residential blocks around landscaped shared spaces.
Housing typologies
Unit and cluster studies explore repeatable residential arrangements alongside the campus landscape.
